Today we’re taking Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals Vegan Chicken BLT and turning it Vegan. As well as seeing if Jamie is a big fat liar, and if it’s even possible to cook in 15 minutes. Can we do it? Let’s find out.
“Making Jamie Vegan”, is where we take a recipe from Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals cookbook, and we see how long they actually take. We also convert them to a vegan recipe, as well to see if it’s even worth cooking in the first place. Here’s our take on Vegan Chicken BLT.

VEGAN CHICKEN BLT
4 rashers of bacon (This Isn’t or Plant Kitcheb are great UK options)
300g chicken (I used Tesco’s own vegan brand)
1 pinch dried oregano
1 pinch cumin seeds
1 little gem lettuce
1 bunch of radishes
2 punnets of cress
40g feta (Violife is good. I forget this in the recipe)
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
8 picked green chillies
1/2 a bunch of corriander
1 red chilli
4 spring onions
2 ripe avocados
5 ripe cherry tomatoes
