Pastor Michael Woodcock

Michael Woodcock has lived in Southern California most of his life. He is an ordained American Baptist minister and has served as pastor of First Baptist Church of North Hollywood since 1992. His education includes a B.A. from Azusa Pacific University and M.Div. and Ph.D degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. Pastor Mike and his wife, Kathy, have a grown daughter, Michelle.

Our ministries

There’s a place for you, there’s encouragement for you, and we all have a part! There are many opportunities to celebrate God’s glory through worship, care for one another through fellowship, cultivate our walk with Christ through discipleship, and communicate God’s good news through mission.

Worship

Our Sunday services are marked by uplifting music; a variety of styles and expressions; uniting in prayer; sharing welcome and love; joyful and generous giving; the Word preached, explained and applied; and taking next steps of faith. Our ministerial staff joins our Pastor in leading the service. Others in the congregation help bring their faith and creative gifts too. In worship we all participate actively!
