The world premiere of Sigute Miller’s “Tragic Magic” will be live, in person at the Whitefire Theatre’s Solofest 2022 on Saturday, March 19 and on demand on Friday, March 25.
“Tragic Magic” is a riveting story of tragedy, trauma, transformation and recovery. Daughter of Lithuanian immigrants a.k.a. DPs (displaced persons) and desperately wanting to fit in, Sigute succumbed to the dragon of addiction at an early age. From hanging with the bad boys, harrowing blackouts, falling prey to the “casting couch,” endangering her young daughter, confrontations with the law, to getting sober, transforming in India, and reconnecting with her first love – nature – she weaves her redemptive journey with raw honesty, pathos, song, poetry and humor.
Talk back will follow the live show.
