Whitefire Theatre Solofest 2021 Continues through April 30.
The second largest solo festival in the United States, now in its 10th year, continues to celebrate the journey of the solo artist.
The Whitefire Theatre’s celebrated SOLOFEST 2021 continues through April 30, fulfilling the need of performing artists to have a safe space to work, as well as the public’s need for quality streaming content. SOLOFEST has added performances from artists new to the program as well as Best of Fest shows from this and previous years.
Bryan Rasmussen, festival producer and owner of the Whitefire Theatre, has been on the forefront of helping solo artists produce, record and stream their work well before COVID started shuttering theaters. With that expertise, the Whitefire Theatre has been able to continue to produce content and work with artists throughout the pandemic.
The totally digital SOLOFEST continues through April 30 with the following shows:
“AN EVENING WITH JOHN WILKES BOOTH” written by Lloyd J. Schwartz and Clinton Case, directed by Lloyd J. Schwartz (“The Brady Bunch,” “Gilligan’s Island”) and performed by Stephen Spiegel. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln was a pivotal point of this nation’s history. John Wilkes Booth was a great actor, but his father and brother were even greater. John Wilkes Booth’s jealousy and his love for the South and slavery lead him to commit the heinous crime for which he is known. Streams Friday, April 16 at 7:00 pm (PDT). Available on demand for 72 hours. Streaming ticket $15.99. Buy tickets and for information whitefiretheatre.com.
“SHATTERED” written and performed by Diana Varco, developed and directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson.
