Music RUSH!

Are You Ready to ROCK?

SIDE A: Friday, May 28 @ 7PM
SIDE B: Saturday, May 29 @ 7PM

Our creative team of talented musicians, playwrights, directors and actors have put together a RUSH so epic, a single night couldn’t contain it! Join us for two, count ’em, TWO nights of original music and music-inspired short-plays known as our “Music RUSH!” Without a doubt, our most ambitious RUSH to date!

The event is FREE, but donations are suggested and gratefully accepted.

On Friday, May 28, Side A features a trio of original plays and a pair of new songs and music videos. Saturday, May 29 offers three more original plays and three fresh music tracks, all written, directed and performed by our immensely talented teams.

Like all of our RUSHes, the teams were selected at random and each short play was assigned a writer, a director, four actors and one music cue composed, in advance, by our resident composer, Tricia Minty. The plays were written based on the tone, pacing and feel of the song assigned, which led to a beautifully diverse selection of concepts and ideas. Each music team was also randomly assigned a songwriter, musicians, singers and tone, with the assignment to work together to create an original composition.
