Two Heads Are Better Productions presents Los Angeles playwright, Sarah Hunter’s hilarious new play, “Escape from the Garden” (aka “Tracy in the Kitchen”), on March 11 at Two Roads Theater.
What happens when Tracy Greene, star of stage and television, bombs at the Ahmanson with her Blanche DuBois? Will her self- inflicted exile in a crappy apartment at “Two Palms Villa” in Van Nuys — frantically scribbling away at her play about Marie Antoinette– lead to total oblivion or to something better? Find out in Sarah Hunter’s world premiere comedy “Escape from the Garden (aka “Tracy in the Kitchen”).”
Sarah Hunter (Playwright) has produced and staged her original plays in Los Angeles and Pasadena while acting, creating, writing, and producing her web series with her Two Heads are Better creative partner, Sandra Cruze. The pair have won multiple awards for their web series “We’re Not Dead Yet” now playing on YouTube. Sarah performed her original one-woman solo show at Beyond Baroque in Venice, CA “Duck and Cover” and her Dogs are Better Than People at the Whitefire Theater in Los Angeles which was awarded with a Best of the Fest award. Her current play, “Escape from the Garden” (aka “Tracy in the Kitchen”) is a play within a play. Tracy Greene, fading star of stage and television, experiences a meltdown in her apartment in Van Nuys after a bad review at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles which compells her to pen an original play about Marie Antoinette. Will she be obliterated during her exile in the kitchen, or will she rise above it all? Website: https://www.Twoheadsarebetterproductions.com
