Kris Heaton’s “My City of Gold” Album Review.
“My City of Gold” is Kris Heaton’s 10th studio album, and as a recording artist for over 30 years, he still has a lot to say. Classic rock with a deeply personal story in every song.
These songs are tightly produced, catchy, commercial, with uplifting themes of hope and positivity as well as highlighting Kris’s spirituality and his commitment to social justice.

He sings like pro, playing every instrument and self-producing to perfection. Over his musical career he has charted five national radio singles, won numerous awards, toured all over the country, played in many many charity relief concerts, and started his own charity, Wheels for Hope, feeding hungry people in need in Connecticut for more than 10 years. He believes in everything he sings and puts his guitar where his mouth is!
The result of all this commitment is a lovely album packed full of meaningful and heartfelt songs beautifully played. Great American rock – honest, authentic and up lifting.
You can tell Kris Heaton loves making music, it’s his purpose. And, after all this time doing it he’s obviously not stopping any time soon! And good for him I say!
