About LOVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF DEATH: A TRILOGY
Mary, an artist, widow and mother, presents three self-contained plays with magical stories of life and love about her husband and son from beyond death. Part I looks at the relationship between frozen grief and depression and tells the story of Mary marrying against all odds and communicating after death with her atheist husband John Guillermin, ‘70s blockbuster film director.
Part II tells the story of Michael Brooks, the young man of 35 Mary adopted who died suddenly two years later and his continued existence after death.
Part III unravels a 3,000-year-old past life story of a matriarchal queen and her son and their relationship to the 21st Century lives of Mary and Michael. Read The Island Queen: Part III of Love on the Other Side of Death review>>
The full trilogy presents a rich tapestry of events where the story themes interweave. All stories are 100% true to Mary’s experience of a magical life.

About Mary Guillermin
“In 2019, when I first wrote my play, Love on the Other Side of Death, about grief and the magical interaction with my husband, John Guillermin, film director, after his death in 2015, I had no idea that that play was to become the first of three.”
Mary Guillermin is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, as well as a playwright and collage artist. She uses her own unique Sacred Archetypes Collage cards to give spiritual guidance and is the editor and lead writer of an award-winning book, John Guillermin: The Man, The Myth, The Movies, available on Amazon.
