A NoHo Arts music review of Zen Ansa GaRangDengZhen’s “Alaye” single.
Zen Ansa Garangdengzhen, also known as Zen, is an internationally award-winning Tibetan singer-songwriter and producer. He is on the leading edge of the world music revolution, blending his unique ethnic voice with a modern sound and production. His message is of unity and charity, spending decades of his life as an activist and humanitarian.

But it is Zen’s music that has brought him to the attention of the western world. The documentary “Seven Days and Seven Nights” (2019), based on his musical path, won the Best Musician Award at the 23rd Hollywood Family Film Festival. Zen continues to educate the world on Tibetan culture through touring and releasing his beautiful music.
This song “Alaye” is a gorgeous mixture of traditional Tibetan vocals and folk music mixed with lush beats and pulse-quickening rhythms. Catchy, vibrant and utterly danceable with quirky twists and turns and shimmering cinematic breakdowns.
“Alaye” is a summery extravaganza by a unique and future-proof international artist. Loved it!
