[NoHo Arts District, CA] – The Whitefire Theatre has opened the application process for Solofest 2023!
Solofest is the largest curated solo theatre festival in the West. This year, Solofest is limiting its run to 40 shows, making it more competitive than in previous years. The 11th season of Solofest is already seeing applicants from all over, with shows coming in from Mexico, Canada, New York and Miami.
Unlike the last couple of years under strict COVID guidelines, all shows for the 2023 season are expected to perform live. However, high-definition recording and streaming of all shows is offered to the performer for an additional cost.
Audience members and artists will still be expected to present a COVID vaccination card or recent test for entry to the venue.
Solofest hosts, Artistic Director Bryan Rasmussen and Victoria Watson Winkler, are looking forward to a vibrant (and Covid-conscious) 2023 and invite all artists — returning and new — to join them for live performances at the largest solo theater festival on the West Coast!
