[NoHo Arts District, CA] – A NoHo Arts music review of Todd Kowaluk’s single “Enough is Enough.”
“Enough is Enough, ” from Vancouver-based indie folk songwriter Todd Kowaluk, is a really great, catchy pop/rock/folk song. It poses the question, how do we know our limits, or when we’re done – done healing, done pacifying, done with the status quo? It’s a protest song really. And a damn good one.
It’s thoughtfully sung and meaningful in a gentle, purposeful way. It doesn’t shove anything down your throat. It reminds us that we have the control. Over our lives and our loves and how we greet the world each day. Something to think about when everything seems to be spinning out of control all around us that’s for sure.

Kowaluk has a lovely voice too. Sweet, intimate, perfect for the song and its message. Gorgeous guitar, rhythmic, hooky, joyful lyrics. It’s uplifting, the message a positive one, even in its protestation.
That’s a great trick isn’t it? A song that pushes us to think about our lives, how we are to each other and to ourselves, but that doesn’t come down like a hammer. That lifts us up instead. Very powerful! Loved it!!!! I can’t stop humming it in fact! Ear worm??
