“To be recognized in the Readers’ Choice Awards for the second year in a row and now as number two among so many iconic and respected hotel brands in the city is an incredible honor,” said General Manager Scott Mills.

“When we decided to lead The Garland through a multi-million dollar renovation in 2013, our goal was to continue my mother, Beverly Garland’s legacy while establishing the property as a landmark in Los Angeles,” said Owner James Crank. “I am forever humbled and grateful for this accolade from Condé Nast Traveler and our team’s continued dedication, hard work and commitment to excellent service and creating lasting memories for our guests.”

More than 300,000 readers – nearly twice as many as last year — cast votes for 7,394 hotels, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships, and 236 islands, in an average survey time of 8.4 minutes. The result? The 1,402 best travel experiences in the world.
