We are doing a North Hollywood restaurant and bar series so our neighborhood gets to know the fun and unique local hangouts. This week we feature The Federal NoHo and some of their treats and upcoming entertainment news.
Our NoHo restaurants and bars have been through a roller coaster ride during the pandemic and many have reopened their doors. One of the things you’ll notice about these neighborhood eateries and bars is that they’re unique to the NoHo Arts District. Our arts district also has creative bars and restaurants. They had to be creative during Corona!
Did you know? Opened in 2011, The Federal NoHo occupies one of the oldest buildings in the San Fernando Valley. It is NoHo’s largest multi-purpose venue and operates a restaurant, four bars, and an events space.
We used to hang out at The Federal on Thursday nights for their DJs spinning music from every decade. It was the place to just dance and soon became a NoHo dancers’ hangout.
We’ve seen so many bands, variety acts, comedy shows and even burlesque Shakespeare Upstairs at The Federal.
So get ready for this summer when they’re fully opened! If you want to book space to perform Upstairs at The Federal, contact their manager Steve for bookings.
But while we wait for Upstairs at The Federal to open, we can still grab their delish bottomless mimosas weekend brunch (11AM – 3PM $25 gets one entree and bottomless Mimosas).
And, of course, The Federal’s seven-day-a-week Happy Hour from 3-6PM is a must.
