The Fat Dog is serving up some hot dogs for California’s firefighters the entire month of September.
The www.nohoartsdistrict.com motto really should be:
“NoHo is only as great as its people.”
One of the special things about the NoHo Arts District is the unique businesses that call our neighborhood home. The Fat Dog North Hollywood is one of these unique and community minded restaurants.
Did you know?
The Fat Dog in North Hollywood (and their Fairfax restaurant) has created a special promotion for the month of September that will donate a portion of proceeds from each hot dog sold back to the California Fire Foundation to support Firefighter Appreciation month. The Foundation provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect. The public is also encouraged to support their local firefighters by donating at CAfirefoundation.org/thankafirefighter or by texting FIRE to 707070.
“We are honored to a part of this worthy cause, they deal with potential tragedy on a daily basis, our lives and the livelihoods of others that patron our establishment regularly, are dramatically affected with on going fires that jeopardize our community in North Hollywood,“ says The Fatdog owner and chef John Gladish. “Without these courageous men and women, our homes, businesses and communities would greatly suffer. We are also, grateful that our Fairfax location can also be a part of this great cause.”
