The 22nd Annual Starlight Serenade Benefit Concert 

[NoHo Arts District, CA] –  The 22nd annual Starlight Serenade Benefit Concert on Friday, October 13 will showcase another outstanding lineup of incredible award-winning musicians and entertainers to benefit Hands4Hope LA’s free after-school youth program and single-parent support activities in North Hollywood and Van Nuys.

Starlight Serenade raises unrestricted funds that, when combined with grant funds, ensures that Hands4Hope LA meets their annual operating budget and continues to show up for the families who rely on this nonprofit neighborhood staple. The annual benefit concert strikes a chord in the community to encourage participation and contribution, gathering music lovers, professional musicians and celebrities together to celebrate and support the academic, athletic, artistic and social enrichment programs provided by Hands4Hope LA for youth and their families. This year’s event will be hosted by veteran broadcaster, actress, entertainer and author, LaRita Shelby and will feature tributes to Hall of Fame inductees Holland, Dozier, Holland songwriting team as well as performances by Saxaphonist Eric Marienthal, the Lao Tizer Band, Phat Yaki and Violinist Karen Briggs. This year’s program will also include student presentations and special guests.

About Hands4Hope LA 

Hands4Hope LA ​​provides support to youth and their parents from low-income, underserved, predominantly single-parent minority households to improve their quality of life. This is accomplished by offering free S.T.E.A.M.- based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) after-school programs and low-cost academic summer camp for youth ages 8 to 18 in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. Parents are supported through workshops, individualized referrals and personalized care.
