STEREO LOVE Rock And Roll Family

I met STEREO LOVE during a show at Universal Bar & Grill and was quickly taken with their music;

Edgy lead guitar, strong vocals, powerhouse drums and metal bass riffs. I heard an array of musical influences ranging from Lita Ford and Joan Jett to The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Motley Crue.

Their original song ‘What Do You Want’ is my personal favorite.

STEREO LOVE is a family music trio that simply loves to rock n’ roll. The band members are 16 year old Jewel Steele on lead vocals and guitar. 17 year old Lula Steele is on bass and back-up vocals. Their dad, Judd Steele is on drums.

Jewel picked up the guitar at age 9 and also plays the violin and drums. She began performing in public during the summer of 2010 as a street musician. Jewel Steele is endorsed by Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.

Lula Steele picked up the bass guitar when she was 10 years old. Influenced by her jazz musician Grandfather, she also plays Upright Bass and was the only female bass player in her middle school orchestra. Lula is endorsed by Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.

Judd Steele brings years of playing drums to the table. Judd has toured for the troops, playing in Afghanistan and other destinations around the world. Judd was looking for a fun, family activity to do together, and being a rock and roll dad, decided to start a band with his two daughters.

STEREO LOVE won ‘Hollywood Rocks’ at the Las Vegas Rocks Music Awards 2013 and was nominated in 2014. The band has played hundreds of live shows over the last four years including festivals, casinos, bars and schools.

Upcoming Shows for 2015:

The muse struck at a young age and began with Ernie’s Record Shop on Lankershim Blvd. In North Hollywood where I purchased my first Beatle record “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” and a record by Major Lance titled “Um,Um,Um,Um,Um,Um”. From there I saw the Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl and I was hooked…on Rock N’ Roll. At the age of 13 it seems as if the magical world of Rock N’ Roll opened up and welcomed me. A trip to Indio with Frank Zappa and possee, and subsequent gigs as a dancer at The Teen Fairs at the Hollywood Palladium sealed the deal. As a trained journalist, I’ve written for magazines, newsletters,newspapers and blogs. In addition, I have run a nightclub by the name of The Cave. Music is the thread that weaves a patchwork quilt of genres, venues and experience out of my life and in the process have introduced many fine acts to my followers. For the rest of my story dear readers, read my articles and it will unfold like the petals of a lotus flower. Sometimes you’ve gotta wear the hat to remind people who they are dealing with. LOL
