Stand Up and Hold ‘Em for ROCKY RIDGE RESCUE

April 3 is going to be a night of fun and poker to support the animals at Rocky Ridge Rescue!

As the NoHo Arts District dot com team always says: “NoHo is only as great as its people.” This holds true for the owners of The Muse Rooms,  the “Affordable Shared Coworking Space in North Hollywood.”

The Muse Rooms will host a night of comedy and poker  to benefit Rocky Ridge Rescue on Sunday, April 3. Rocky Ridge Rescue (RRR) is a non-profit sanctuary that is home to a multitude of animals in need, horses, sheep, goats, donkeys big and small, pigs, fowl, bunnies, dogs, cats and even a tortoise. RRR recently purchased a property and need building supplies for pens, repairs and to maintain all the animals they support. Check out their Facebook page for videos and images of the love and care they give to the animals, and to meet Charlie, the cuddle bug black lamb.

The Muse Rooms owner Nancy Sexton loves animals and is good friends with Liz Norris, the owner of RRR. Nancy knows all of the struggles that Liz and RRR have suffered over winter and with the move and wanted to do something to help.

“Stand Up for Rocky Ridge Rescue” will be held at The Muse Rooms on Sunday, April 3rd from 7PM-10PM. In the Main Space: they will feature comedians from Last Comic Standing Adam Hunter, Erik Escobar, Jason Cheny and the hilarious Grant Gordon! There will also be music by Illunis, open bar and food, are all included in the $30 ticket price.

You may also pre-buy 50/50 raffle tickets online if you can’t make the show or pick up your tickets on the night of the show. All donations are tax deductible!

In the Boardroom: they will host Texas Hold ‘em! $200 tax deductible Buy-in. Winner takes a percentage of the buy-in, only eight players and special high-end liquor.

About Rocky Ridge Rescue

Rocky Ridge Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and sanctuary for large and small homeless animals in Santa Clarita, California. RRR was founded by a few hard working professional women, who can’t just look the other way when an animal is in need. Liz, Lee and Samantha decided it was time to take action against animal abuse, overpopulation and neglect. Please join the cause! We can’t do it without your help.

About The Muse Rooms

The Muse Rooms were created for all of the amazing talented professionals in our area and for those who may just be passing by. We realized the incredible demand for such a space and decided to create one that inspires, relaxes and breeds productivity.

The Muse Rooms are located close to five major studios, the 101, 134, 170 and provide six different work environments. We also provide a kitchen, bathroom, board room, free WIFI, free water, free coffee, free tea, free social mixers, seminars, printer and more.

The main goal of The Muse Rooms is to be the go to space for mobile offices and creativity in North Hollywood. We understand how hard working from home or working in a coffee shop can be and now for less than the price of a cup of coffee you can enjoy The Muse Rooms.
