THE BEVERLY HILLS ART SHOW RETURNS THIS OCTOBER Free Art Show Exhibits Works of 250 Artists.
The NoHo Arts District dot Com team goes every year, twice a year to the Beverly Hills artSHOW and many of our local artists exhibit their work!
The City of Beverly Hills will hold its fall Art Show on Saturday, October 20th and Sunday, October 21st, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Beverly Gardens Park, along four blocks of Santa Monica Boulevard, from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive. For over 45 years, the City of Beverly Hills has hosted one of Southern California’s most successful art events.
The Beverly Hills Art Show brings over 40,000 art enthusiasts from Southern California and beyond to see and purchase the works of 250 outstanding local and national artists. Visitors stroll through four garden blocks of paintings, sculpture, photographs, mixed media work, ceramics, glass, drawings, and traditional fine prints, meeting artists who are available to personally discuss their affordable works.
A special show feature called “Making Faces” will highlight artists’ portrait-style work. Twelve artists, including ceramicists, painters, a photographer and a sculptor will present work devoted to the human face, and in one case, some very human animal faces. Demonstrating painter Carol Steinberg is available to paint your portrait throughout the weekend!
Many of our first place and other major award winners return to the fall show. Clovis Blackwell, who received both First Place in Drawing and Printmaking and the Best of Show award at the most recent show this past May, will exhibit his apocalyptic, entertaining, pop-art like explosions, created by hand with layers of silkscreened acrylic paint.
