Become an Afterschool Angel for Hands4Hope LA – the NoHo nonprofit that provides support to at-risk North Hollywood youth ages 8 to 18 through after-school enrichment programs.
What is an Afterschool Angel?
Many of our North Hollywood students come from low-income single parent households. These parents have to foot the bill for everything their children need, and often without the support of other family members. Hands4Hope LA is a low cost after-school program that serves these families by providing homework assistance, engaging enrichment activities and opportunities that their parents wouldn’t be able to afford.
The $2000 sponsorship provides a child for a year with healthy snacks each day, field trips, and classes such as science, dance, kickboxing, cooking, music, art and so much more. These are opportunities all children should have but the reality is these children do not. So we are asking you to invest in a child today and create a leader tomorrow.
Help us help these families by SPONSORING A CHILD for this academic year (Sept 2017-June 2018). Sponsor a child together: If you are unable to cover the full cost for one child on your own, consider asking your friends and family to join you in a collaborative effort. Give a child a chance that will change their lives forever.
You will receive a personal thank you note from the child/teen and their family, along with updates of their progress throughout the year.
To sponsor a child/teen go to our website www.hands4hopela.org and click “DONATE” or simply click HERE.
