Sluka VIP Single/Video Release

Christopher Sluka continues to revel gloriously his direct-from-the-eighties vibe with this latest release…together with a sparkling new video which can only be described as what heaven must be to a dog lover…watch it and you will understand!

VIP is a brilliant electronic, post punk track, reminiscent of the most beloved XTC.  Unapologetically kitchy and cool, VIP is a rip on the culture of elitism and the uber-famous.  With his usual polish-with-an-edge approach to music, Sluka marvels at the idiocy of fame while walking neatly beside it.  The production is gorgeous, the lyrics catchy and on point and the combination of all of that results in a movie-ready track that dares you to sing along as it takes itself not at all seriously.

Sluka and his brilliant band are it this for the long haul…eleven albums and multiple international tours later, he is still original and poignant, thought provoking and fresh.

A message from the Artist: “Visit the nearest shelter and find a pet to rescue YOU!”

Can’t argue with that, or the sublimely shot video to this rather excellent tune!!! Loved it!!!
