PRISM Comes to NoHo – an interactive, installation-based art happening

Like we always say, “NoHo is only as great as its people.”

We are a one-mile neighborhood but with a ton of fun events put on by some great people who believe in the arts. The folks at The Penthouse of NoHo are celebrating the Spring Equinox with an Indoor Festival & Artist Collaboration over the weekend March 18 and 19. It’s a FREE event for ALL AGES. Come see how artists of all kinds can inspire us. On March 19, the Indoor Festival & Artist Collaboration will host PRISM, an interactive, installation-based art happening featuring live music, dance, circus, and visual art. We asked PRISM representative Stephen Beitler  more about PRISM and what the NoHo community can expect from the event.

What is Prism ?

PRISM is a fractaling of creative energy through the different lenses of artists. The night will include four installations by different artists with a spattering of performance art throughout the night. Circus, dance, music, high art to low art, we are only a reflection of our eclectic community. Everything you see is original, created for us all to create a moment in time, together, on March 19th. Any great adventure cannot be accurately described, but only experienced.

Why did you create the show?

Our first PRISM was created out of love. We love our community of beautiful artistry. And so we wanted to bring that community together to create a moment. That first moment we called PRISM. Now, almost two years later, our community has grown and PRISM has grown. And so we are efflorescence.

Why did you choose to do it in the Penthouse of NoHo?

The open space is beautiful, the windows allowing an even larger community to enjoy, than those inside who got tickets, an open space for creativity, and the ceilings allow us to fly.

Through art we find life and through light we find PRISM.

I look forward to taking a breath with you all; and then seeing what happens.

See you at The Penthouse of NoHo this weekend!
