Are artists guaranteed at least one show once they’re a member?
There are no guaranteed shows but they are seen by a multitude of art professionals. Every show is juried by someone outside our gallery, We have had curators from LACMA, MOMA, our newest show was juried by Jennifer Inacio, Perez Art Museum Miami. The artists get a lot of exposure that would be hard on their own.
What is the international cultural exchange opportunities for LAAA artists.
We have several exchange exhibits. Next month we have an exchange exhibit with Italy, next year we are working with a gallery in Cuba, plus members can other calls and opportunities of internships and scholarships from CA to Peru.
