[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Local artists are invited to help transform North Hollywood streets by painting traffic signal boxes throughout Council District 2.
About the North Hollywood Signal Box Art
This public art initiative brings creative work into everyday spaces, turning ordinary intersections into visual landmarks that reflect the community. Selected artists will receive a $200 stipend, and completed boxes will be protected with an anti-graffiti coating.
Artist Guidelines
- Artwork must be community-appropriate and follow LADOT guidelines
- Designs must cover all four sides of the signal box
- Each side should stand on its own, but the overall design can be continuous
Artists must use the official signal cabinet template when submitting proposals.
