As the Census response deadline has shortened to September 30, 2020, Mayor Garcetti is calling on Angelenos to help promote the 2020 Census and increase self-response rates in Los Angeles. Only 56% of Angelenos have responded to the 2020 Census, and we need your help to boost the self response rate to ensure that Los Angeles receives the funding and representation it deserves. Being counted in the Census means equal representation at all levels of government and money for our communities for vital programs and services in education, housing, healthcare, transportation and so much more for the next 10 years. We are asking community members to respond to the Census to make sure everyone gets counted.
