This Is Where We Came In Synopsis
Imagine being trapped in a world where you are forced to act out old folk tales told over and over again by three very inept storytellers who keep getting the stories wrong. Also imagine that everything that happens in the stories really happens to you. That’s the situation that these five story-players find themselves in. If only someone would come along who could release them from this cycle of folk-tale purgatory.

About Alan Ayckbourn
Sir Alan Ayckbourn is an Olivier and Tony Award-winning playwright. He lives in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, and has written 92 full-length plays, many of which have been produced in London’s West End and New York as well as around the world.
About ELATE
ELATE (Emmanuel Lutheran Actors Ensemble) originated in the spring of 1984 with the initial production of The Miracle Worker. ELATE shows were originally produced on the stage of the Parish Hall of Laurel Hall School. In June of 1991, the group converted a little-used lecture hall in the basement of Emmanuel Lutheran Church’s administration building at 6020 Radford Avenue, North Hollywood, CA, into the Lincoln Stegman Theater. This lecture hall became ELATE’s main stage. ELATE has produced over 100 shows at Parish Hall and the Lincoln Stegman Theater.
