[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Zombie Joe’s Underground and Razorwire Productions present Something Anxious: A Double Feature at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
How two plays got written in 50 hours, performed in the desert, and ended up crossing the hill.
About Something Anxious: A Double Feature
The one-hour theatrical production features two original plays created during Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group’s 23rd Annual 50 Hour Drive-By Theatre Festival:
- Anxious Attachment – written and directed by Douglas Clarke
- Something Ancient – written and directed by Michael Silva

Anxious Attachment, penned by a lifelong technologist, tells the story of a young man retreating into companions that simulate the people he has lost. Through his unraveling, the play explores the emotional consequences of artificial connection: attachment, grief, addiction, and family fracture.

Something Ancient is a genre-blending production combining family drama, absurd comedy, and spy thriller chaos into a fast-moving theatrical experience that explores complicated family relationships through humor, tension, and emotional unpredictability.
Together, both plays explore the emotional extremes of family dynamics, dependency, connection, and loss.
