“Our production takes place in Italy, during the month of August for what locals call ‘Ferragosto’ – a time when everyone slows down and blows off steam,” said co-directors Emma Chase and Natalia Giovanni about the creative concept. “We are excited to explore the youthful exuberance that slips into recklessness, the carefree confidence that can become irresponsibility, and the intoxicating freedom of long, Sicilian summer nights.”
