[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Los Angeles Pierce College Theatre will continue its 2024-2025 Season beginning December 6 with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage’s comedy, Clyde’s.
About the Show
Clyde’s is a raucous and bawdy comedy that serves up the story of ordinary characters with big dreams. The formerly incarcerated staff of Clyde’s truck stop diner are looking to start their lives over in the kitchen under the pressure of the fiery rule of the owner. In pursuit of the perfect sandwich, the chefs imagine a future they have been constantly told is out of reach. Fast-paced and uproariously funny, Clyde’s is a play that reminds us that “sometimes a hero is more than just a sandwich” (The New Yorker).
