From 2016 to 2019, Loft produced 19 mainstage shows and about 125 Dark Night shows in Sherman Oaks, garnering 27 nominations and 8 wins from the Valley Theatre Awards, including 2018’s Artistic Director Achievement Award to Adam Chambers, and 2019’s Best Company Ensemble Award.
In late 2018, Loft learned that their home in Sherman Oaks had been sold, and the hunt for another  new space began. Word reached the company that a space might be available in the NoHo Arts District, and discussions began in early 2019 to secure and plan another move, and yet another complete rebuild of a space, this time with a second venue on the property! Loft began work on April 23rdand held a Grand Opening Gala on June 9, 2019, officially launching the new spaces in the beautiful NoHo Arts District to the public. Being in the NoHo Arts District is a dream come true for Loft, who will, in September, begin an 8th season of production with six shows on the mainstage, and six shows announced for Sawyer’s Playhouse, the dedicated blackbox space upstairs. Loft’s work is supported by the Sawyer Sweeten Foundation, the Rosenthal Family Foundation and Ray and Anna Romano Family Foundation.
