Betsy takes you on a wild, funny, and deeply personal magical carpet ride through her journey of transformation. With humor, fairy-tale twists, and raw storytelling, she explores what it means to shed society’s expectations and step into your own magic.
From childhood struggles with poverty and having a dad who walked out on her, to facing the humiliation of undiagnosed ADHD, the pain of constantly failing in school, and the struggle with feeling worthless — her story is brutally honest, hilarious, and inspiring.
In this show, Betsy introduces you to her entire Louisiana-bred family — as she plays all their characters, giving a hilarious, heartfelt glimpse into her f-ed up life. Watch her family go from rags to “Beverly Hillbilly” riches, through Betsy’s resilience. This is a story about the power of embracing who you really are even if you were told that you weren’t good enough.
