09/09 TLR – Experience The Eagles with Emerging Artist: Current Disørder
FREE 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Since their debut in 2000, THE LONG RUN – Experience The Eagles has earned its place among the top-drawing tribute acts in North America and is widely regarded as the finest Eagles tribute show working today. Hand picked to perform the music of The Eagles by Mark Cuban’s and Ryan Seacrest’s network AXS-TV, their 90 minute live concert for the hit TV show “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” was broadcast to millions of viewers across five continents. The show received the highest ratings in the series’ history resulting in an unprecedented two invitations to return in subsequent seasons for encore appearances.The band’s career has propelled them all over the United States, through Canada, Asia, Mexico, Bermuda, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and all over Australia. Marked by lush vocal harmonies and exceptional musical accuracy, every TLR performance delivers a reverence for the beloved Eagles recordings blended with The Long Run’s own live-concert personality.
Current Disørder is a four-member band from the San Fernando valley. Influences range from Blink-182 to Depeche Mode to Joy Division to creating a genre called surfcore!
07/08 Element Band – World Music

Element Band‘s unique signature embodies the essence of World Music. The band’s distinctive arrangements preserve and popularize traditional Armenian songs by infusing each piece with large-bodied vocals and a cool blend of instrumentals. Led by Ara Dabandjian, the band’s multifaceted music comes to life through the use of contemporary and traditional instruments. Element Band’s success is underpinned by the warm and passionate sounds of the Mediterranean and the vibrant, rich, and uplifting notes are woven through their music. The band’s most recent album e` was released in 2018; a new album set to be later released this year.
07/15 Selena (Movie)

Jennifer Lopez and Edward James Olmos star in this celebration of Selena Quintanilla Perez, a girl from South Texas with global talent, incredible will and magnetic charm. Young. Beautiful. Enormously gifted. At 23, Selena shone as a fresh star in a vibrantly new musical field. But just as she was poised to be the next pop-music sensation, her life was tragically cut short.

07/22 Amor Prohibido – Tribute to Selena

The Amor Prohibido band has been performing together since 2014. They have been hailed by fans and critics alike as one of the best Selena tributes. Amor Prohibido has sold out more shows than any other tribute band. Nira Perez is an absolute dead-ringer for Selena, both visually and vocally. She continues to stun fans with her resemblance, exact mannerisms and identical voice to Selena. Fans agree that Amor Prohibido delivers the closest experience to the original Selena lineup. Amor Prohibido takes you back to the ’90s era when the timeless music of Selena ruled the airwaves. A thoroughly cinematic drama, Elvis’s (Austin Butler) story is seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). As told by Parker, the film delves into the complex dynamic between the two spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Central to that journey is one of the significant and influential people in Elvis’s life, Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).

08/05 Scott Bruce’s Tribute to Young Elvis

Los Angeles-based Scot Bruce wows fans all over the U.S. and abroad with his unbelievable 1950s- and ’60s-era Elvis Tribute Show. Because of his uncanny resemblance to the young “King” and his ability to sing, strum a guitar, and swivel his hips, his live show has taken him all over the world. As Elvis, he has appeared in music videos with Faith Hill and Sheryl Crow, and had been heard for years as the “Resident Elvis” with his pals Mark and Brian on their popular Los Angeles morning radio show. Scot has also appeared in recurring roles on the hit soap operas Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful and in the title role in several successful productions of Idols of the King, including the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Barter Theatre in Virginia, and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery. He has had the honor of performing with the legendary Jordanaires (Elvis’ original backup singers) and also performs at Disneyland on a regular basis.

It’s the early 1960s, and 5th-grader Scotty Smalls has just moved into town with his folks. Kids call him a dork–he can’t even throw a baseball! But that changes when the leader of the neighborhood gang recruits him to play on the nearby sandlot field. It’s the beginning of a magical summer of baseball, wild adventures, first kisses and fearsome confrontations with the dreaded Beast and its owner who live behind the left field fence in this hilarious and warmhearted comedy.

08/26 Queen Legion – Tribute to Queen

Queen Legion is a four-piece matching period rock costumed Queen tribute band that performs a live 90-minute show of Queen’s library of greatest hits. They work hard to try and recreate a vintage Queen concert show format. The presentation is meant to be realistic, authentic, and reminiscent of an early arena rock show honoring and paying homage to Freddie Mercury, arguably one of the greatest lead performers, and the band Queen, who are unquestionably one of the greatest rock bands of all time. We hope you enjoy the show as you will hear them perform Queen’s timeless arena rock classics such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Fat Bottomed Girls,” “Somebody To Love,” “We Will Rock You,” “We Are The Champions,” and many more.
09/02 Grease (Movie)

Grease is the one that you want! Go back to high school with Pink Lady Sandy (Olivia Newton-John), leader of the bad-boy T-Birds, Danny (John Travolta), and a rockin’ and rollin’ all-star cast.

General Information:
- Concerts are held on Saturday evenings beginning at 7:00 p.m., with an opening act from VCF’s Emerging Artists Showcase performing original work. The headline act will begin at approximately 8:00 p.m., continuing through 9:30 p.m.
- Movies are also held on Saturday evenings beginning at dusk, about 7:30 p.m.
- North Hollywood Recreational Park is located at 11455 W Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood CA, 91601. The concerts and movies are held on the south side of the park at Magnolia and Tujunga, behind the Amelia Earhart Public Library.
- Parking for concerts is available various parking lots surrounding the park or street parking.
- Artist booths, vendor booths, and food trucks will be present.
