Amy, Amy, Amy.
Yes. The NoHo Arts District dot Com team was and still is a huge fan of Amy Winehouse. Her album “Back to Black” won five 2008 Grammy Awards, and made her the first British female to win five Grammys, including three of the general field “Big Four” awards: Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. You should listened to her debut album “Frank,” because it gives you even more of an appreciation for her range and talent…and even more sadness that she is gone.
Amy died of alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011 at the infamous age of 27. Every year on the anniversary of her death we salute her and think positive thoughts for those struggling with any type of addiction. We hope to not lose any more talented artists.
