The Randy Emata Quartet’s unique blend of Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk and R&B perform on the Plaza. A DJ will begin the evening at 6.30pm together with some eclectic local artisans during the monthly NoHo ArtWalk. What should people expect at your NoHo Plaza night?
Listeners should expect to hear unique takes on popular RnB, Hip Hop, Jazz and Pop songs seamlessly flowing into each other. A few originals may find themselves in the near non stop set.
Do you have a favorite style of music you like to play?
Anything groovy. Doesn’t matter what genre.
You have worked with some impressive artists. Do you have any words of advice to give musicians starting out?
Learn your worth and learn how to collect a check!
What’s your favorite thing about NoHo?
Growth and diversity. Central location to all my favorite things. Sunbathing on the beach to the west, canyon cutting on my motorcycles to the East (Angeles Crest Highway is my other home :), Dirt biking to the North and exploring Downtown to the South. Fantastic!
NoHo ArtWalk features 20 visual artists and four performers spread throughout the NoHo Pedestrian Plaza from 6pm-10pm every 3rd Thursday of the month.
