A review of the No Past Future single “The Plug.”

So, No Past No Future is a trio that lives in three different cities. But like rest of us, they just had to figure it out! “The Plug” is their debut single on their N.P.N.F label, a concept inspired by Ekhart Tolle and his “The Power of Now.” That’s a motif that rings more true than ever, don’t you think?

“The Plug” is a gorgeous song. A love song. A pop song. A hopeful song. The vocals are soft and soulful, the hook spacious and smooth as silk. The song curls around you, uplifting, clever, catchy as hell.

If this is the first single I can only wonder what comes next. A lot more of this and more I hope. Understated, wickedly simple, it grows and grows on you, all summery hot nights and longing looks.

It needs a very cool video…these young guys are just starting out, finding their sound, discovering what they want to say, who they want to be. This is a fantastic beginning. An epic beginning.
