[NoHo Arts District, CA] – A NoHo Arts music review of Night Hymns’ “Blue Bottle” single.

Vancouver-based indie rock musician Night Hymns’ new single “Blue Bottle” was inspired by singer-songwriter Wei’s encounter with a cafe in San Fransisco of the same name.  And I can’t think of a better reason to write a song!

“Blue Bottle” has a brilliant retro rock n roll feel. Hugely influenced by The Beatles and Oasis, this self-taught musician is on a quest to write songs about his newfound muse, San Fransisco. “Blue Bottle” is a simple tune, buoyant, catchy and the perfect 45.

I love that I have the opportunity to listen to such a diverse selection of music, I would never have heard “Blue Bottle” or found Night Hymns unless I was sent his track to review…what a gift to be able to share this sweet, funny, purposeful music with you.

We should be grateful that musicians like Night Hymns are out in the world making quirky, lovely tracks like this to keep us sane in this crazy time! I love it and can’t wait to hear more from him!! Bravo Wei!!!
