Music review of Sophia Treadway’s “I’m Good” single and video release.
Sophia Treadway has been a brilliant emerging artist since she blew away judges at her first talent competition at age nine! After winning the national IPOP competition for her age group, Sophia met her producer, Marc Williams of Indasoul Entertainment, and the rest is history.
For a young artist, Sophia Treadway has many more years than most of experience as a performer. Her gorgeous vocals, with the help of the renowned vocal coach Bob Westbrook, have grown and evolved into her unique, soulful and sweetly strong voice.

“I’m Good” is the kind of song this Latina/American should be singing. Pop but soulful, catchy but meaningful, commercial but with a message for us all.
Basically, it’s a girl telling a guy not to mess her around, that she’s “good” with or without him. If only that message could land more often!
The video is slick and cinematic, perfect for the song, purposeful, stylish, addictive. Sophia reminds me of a young Christina Aguilera, and “I’m Good” is her “Genie in a Bottle.” This is Sophia’s four-single release and she already has quite a following.
“I’m Good” is sure to expand her audience and it’s absolutely perfect for the summer, when all young hearts are broken and when we need songs just like this the most.
We’ve all been cooped up for so long, we need to get out and dance, fall in love and know when it’s right and when it’s wrong. “I’m Good” is such a great female anthem. Guys always think they are irreplaceable…shocker! Let’s remind them that we are all “good” without them.
