LA Art Show 2023
[NoHo Arts District, CA] – This month’s LA Art blog features the LA Art Show 2023

[NoHo Arts District, CA] – This month’s LA Art blog features the LA Art Show.

Every year, the most sweeping international contemporary art show graces Los Angeles – the LA Art Show hosted by the Los Angeles Convention Center. The LA Art Show is a global and exhaustive showcase of international and domestic galleries, artists, and contemporary artworks.

The LA Convention center’s dedicated 180,000 square feet is dedicated to the most arresting and relevant art galleries across the world.

With over 120 galleries, the LA Art Show exposes burgeoning artists who specialize in painting, sculpture, paper works, installation, multi-media, mixed media, photography, design, video, and performance.

Carefully curated, the LA Art Show features artist (and gallery) talks, mini-gallery spaces, food, drink, and immersive art.

It’s somehow perfect that such a diverse and multi-cultural epicenter of arts (in a growing DTLA art center) would host the LA Art Show. The multiculturalism and innovation of Los Angeles make it the perfect host on the West Coast.

Accessible, aweing, and inspiring, the LA Art Show is a mini-retreat within the LA playground each year.

Raleigh Barrett Gallina
Raleigh (Barrett) Gallina from LA ART. Raleigh has been writing for the NoHo Arts District since 2015. Raleigh explores everything from large-scale commercial exhibitions to gratis solo exhibitions showcased by amateur galleries. While her preferences are ever-evolving, her favorite exhibitions include large-scale sculpture or paint, as well as artwork which holds socio-cultural underpinnings. She hopes that by capturing a large array of media and voices (including that of curators and the artists themselves), that readers are able to enjoy and voyeur out of their comfort zones.
