Jeff “R U Hip 2 the Revolution” Single Release

This is a really well-crafted song.  Jeff Clark has been a musician all his life and you can tell he is deeply committed to his music. “R U Hip 2 the Revolution” is the first single from his forthcoming album, “My Last CD,” which drops in November.

Jeff is based in Key West and there are a lot of cultural influences colliding in this track.  Funk, reggae, rap, rock, folk and a little twist of americana, all converging to create a really nice little festival sound, an authentic and with an almost live feel. Live music!! I miss it!!  Spoken word and catchy vocals mix with a really hooky and engaging message result in a great radio song….although there is an accompanying video!

This track is all about recognizing that whatever you may believe, the world is changing, with or without you, better to get involved and be a part of the positive than get left behind and be a part of the problem.  Lovely production, gorgeous musicianship, heartfelt messaging, great song!  Looking forward to his album!
