We’re listening to J-Ax & Fedez “Pieno di stronzi” from the album, “Comunisti col Rolex.” Ciao, 2017. You’ve been a year of such divisiveness and indecency, and just an unprecedented deplorable year.
We are ready to kiss 2017 goodbye and welcome a peaceful, kinder, smarter and more hopeful 2018.
But sometimes we need an anthem to get us through it all, and we have just the song. J-Ax & Fedez have given us “Pieno di stronzi,” our “Hey, 2017! Don’t let the door hit you on the a**!” anthem.
This ska cover automatically makes you want to do the Rude Boy dance or drive like you’re in Formula Uno.
So you may not speak Italian and that’s ok. But we hope to give you a few key words. So, for starters, just memorize the following chorus in Italian so you can sing along:
Il mondo e’ pieno di stronzi (il moandoh eh pea-eh-no dee stronzee)
Translated, the chorus “Il mondo pieno di stronzi” means “The world is filled with assholes.” If you’ve heard this song someplace before you’d be right. J-Ax & Fedez covered Reel Big Fish’s “Everyone Else Is an Asshole” but in Italian.
So when you just can’t stand any more pumpkin spice or anything orange for that matter, just let it rip and sing “Pieno di stronzi.” We promise, it’ll make you feel better. You really could sing to either one but the J-Ax & Fedez cover is in Italian and no one will know you’re really calling them assholes.
Yes, the world is filled with a bunch of stronzi but we don’t have to be one of them.
Here’s to an AWESOME 2018 non pieno di stronzi…not filled with assholes.
Grazie mille J-Ax & Fedez
