Affordable Artist Housing at Hollywood Arts Collective

[NoHo Arts District, CA] –The Hollywood Arts Collective is an affordable housing development in partnership with the Entertainment Community Fund and Thomas Safran & Associates. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, the Hollywood Arts Collective includes 152 income and rent restricted units including studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments for the arts and entertainment community. The property also has accessible units for people with disabilities. This project will serve low-income households and has a preference for artists.

This online seminar will tell you everything you need to know about how to apply for affordable housing at the Hollywood Arts Collective. In addition to sharing details on the building and its amenities, you’ll learn about the application process, tenant selection criteria and how to prepare and submit a strong application.

All affordable housing programs are based on income eligibility and we know that many arts workers have fluctuating income.

The seminars will focus on:

  • How to apply for affordable housing at the Hollywood Arts Collective
  • Details about the building and its amenities
  • The application process, tenant selection criteria and how to prepare and submit your application
  • Artist preference criteria
  • Methods for assessing your income
  • Required documentation
  • Deadlines

Each seminar will be followed by a Q&A to get all your questions answered.

After you register, you will be sent a Zoom link in advance of the event.

This is what we need in the NoHo Arts District. Our one-square-mile North Hollywood neighborhood is naturally filled with dancers, actors, musicians, singers, painters and all types of creative folks. We hope one day there will be an affordable housing project just for artists also in NoHo.
