Glendale Community College

The Glendale Community College Theatre Arts Department is a vibrant and dynamic community of artists and scholars, united in their dedication to fostering creativity, empathy, and excellence. Our nationally recognized program offers fully produced productions as well as student-initiated work. Our vision is to cultivate the next generation of performing artists who are not only proficient in their craft but also compassionate global citizens who contribute to the enrichment of the human spirit through the power of storytelling and performance.

Uniquely positioned in Southern California with access to Hollywood and the Los Angeles entertainment industry, students gain opportunities to work in the field, build their resumes, and enrich their artistic experiences. With a variety of degree, certificate, and transfer options, we help each student identify and prepare for their unique pathway into the field.

Glendale Community College proudly performs in their 400-seat proscenium auditorium, a 50-seat black-box Studio Theatre, and the new adaptable “MOD” Theatre.
