A NoHo Arts music review of Galactic Fuzz’s latest self-titled album “Galactic Fuzz.”
Galactic Fuzz is an alt rock band, with a sprinkling of psychedelic pop. Their debut album, “Galactic Fuzz,” with the single “Transparent” as their first release, is a fabulous mixture of mournful, heartbreaking, cautionary tales and tightly wound melodic rock.
Packed full of softly retro feeling tracks with utterly brilliant musicianship, gorgeous vocals and a spiraling futuristic vibe that makes for an amazing collection of truly beautiful songs.

I’m a big Chicano Batman fan and Galactic Fuzz has that same kind of totally unique flavor – with a little twist of Pink Floyd perhaps. Rhythmic, sweet melodies fill these songs about love and life and truth with an excellent 80s/90s innocence. The songs are short, sharp, fluid and poetic, and uniquely theirs. See ‘World Party’ and I’ll raise you some ‘Radiohead.’
Galactic Fuzz is Miami- and Vegas-based, I sure hope they find their way to L.A. soon, I would love to see these guys live! You can tell they enjoy creating together, as they sway from speed to speed and from harmonies to mosh pit breaks, sometimes all in the same song.
I love the innovation, the creativity, the worship of the song and where it takes them. Lyrics straight out of a Tarrantino space movie, but in a good way…love, love, love this album!!!! Got it on repeat…
