Let’s welcome spring 2022 with dance! This year is the 20th season of Dance Camera West Film Festival, bringing us the very best dance films from around the world. The six-day, in-person and virtual screening of 75 films selected from 400 submissions will be March 24 to April 2, 2022.
“We roll out an exclusive set of international dance films that connects cultures, stage dancers old and young, tells stories. Each dance film brings a different discipline to the forefront, be it dance, choreography or cinematography, and some films present all three at once. All films are Los Angeles premieres, with many world and American premieres, including special screening of Undanced Dances Through Prison Walls During a Pandemic and six films produced by the recipients of the DCW Finishing Fund for Underrepresented Filmmakers, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.
