What made you decide to do a show on caricatures?

We have a lot of caricature artists that shop in here on a regular basis and also thought it would be challenging for artists outside of the genre to push their styles a bit.

Are you looking for something in particular?

We are looking for art that exhibits exaggeration or forced perspective. It can be portraiture, photography, or sculpture.

Can you tell us more about the artist reception?

The opening reception will be Saturday, April 21st from 5 until 8. There will be appetizers, beverages, music fitting of the occasion and hopefully a working caricature artist.

Anything else you’d like to add?

We really want artists to have fun with this one. Classic caricature art is certainly welcome but not required.
