Calling all NoHo-Arts-Districta-farians!

What happens in neighborhoods around NoHo affects us. Join our neighbors in making The Valley a better place to live!

Calling all NoHo-Arts-Districta-farians! If you live, work or play in Studio City, you may qualify to vote in the Studio City Neighborhood Council elections, for which online voting has already begun. If you haven’t heard about it — you’re hearing about it now.

If you are a NoHo Arts District-based — barrista, writer, actor, dancer, director, producer, art director, grip, electric, makeup, hair etc. — you can probably qualify to vote! And it’s absolutely free. OurStudioCity.org is a great resource and will try to get you all squared away to learn about the candidates to cast your votes.

There’s a lot at stake in this election: Should the City Council continue its aggressive addition of parking meters to our streets? (Hint: No!) Is a pedestrian bridge, like the one currently going up at NBC Universal at the RED LINE station, appropriate for Harvard Westlake, a private school that wants to put a 750 car garage in a hillside on Coldwater Canyon? (Hint: No!)

Have you ever been ticketed in Studio City? There’s a groundswell of residents who want to HAVE A SAY!

Most comprehensive post for OurStudioCity.org candidate endorsements is HERE.

Voter registration may be completed on-line until March 31st. https://register.empowerla.org/council/41/

On-line Voting has begun. You may also vote in person Thursday April 7th, 4PM to 8PM at:

Walter Reed Middle School
4525 Irvine Street
Studio City
