Inspired by Eastern philosophy and the crushing concept of the all-consuming void, Moore leans into a beautifully brazen and gorgeously loose performance style heavily influenced by the raw, unpredictable energy of Iggy Pop, who Moore sees as his inspiration. This chaotic original material is meaningfully mixed with heavy, reimagined covers from PJ Harvey, Tom Waits, and The Doors, all influential artists of Moore’s. The raucous and inventive rendition of the Beastie Boys’ Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun is a showstopper, brilliant!!!
