Upstage Heads to Sherman Oaks – Youth Broadway Classes at Whitefire Theatre
[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Upstage Theatre Arts Schools is bringing its youth Broadway-inspired classes to the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks.
Students in 1st–5th grade are invited to join this Broadway-inspired class, where they’ll learn songs, dances, and scenes from the Tony Award-winning musical! Along the way, students will build theatre vocabulary and technique through interactive games, scene work, music, and dance, all taught by theatre professionals.
The session culminates in a Wickedly Fun Showcase, featuring group numbers, solos, and show-stopping moments from one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals such as One Short Day, Defying Gravity, Popular, and more! It’s a fantastic opportunity for young performers to grow their skills, gain confidence, and shine on stage!
