[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Eighty Eight Studios in the NoHo Arts District is serving up serious training with plenty of personality at its home at 5223 Lankershim Blvd. Co-owners Caoife Coleman and Nicholas Gilligan bring nearly two decades of professional dance experience to a studio where dancers can train hard, experiment, step outside their comfort zones and have a darn good time doing it.
With careers spanning major artists, film, television, tours and some of the industry’s top choreographers, Coleman and Gilligan know what professional dancers need. But Eighty Eight Studios isn’t just for dancers with impressive résumés. The studio welcomes different levels and creates an environment where experienced dancers can sharpen their skills while newer dancers can challenge themselves, try new styles and grow.
The schedule backs that up, with a mix of styles and instructors that gives dancers plenty of opportunities to branch out while training with working professionals and becoming part of NoHo’s dance community.

Sometimes the best way to get the vibe of a dance studio is to simply take class. Dancer Jackie recently jumped into La Tina Rusin’s Reggaeton class at Eighty Eight Studios. It’s suitable for all levels and offers a chance to explore more than choreography.
