[NoHo Arts District, CA] – ROAR!, a solo dramedy ghost story written and performed by Holly Shaw, blending stand-up comedy, storytelling, grief, ritual, and the supernatural into a bold theatrical experience, heads to the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
About ROAR!
How well do you truly know someone? After her boyfriend dies, Holly makes an unexpected discovery about his true feelings. As the story unfolds, the veils all become thinner: between good people and bad, between the script and real life, between the living and the dead . . . What happens when a comedian, a wise woman and earthquake woman walk into a bar? The guardrails crumble one by one, a whirlwind of drama and comedy reaches a breathtaking intensity, all converging to explore one haunting question: What happens when a loved one dies, but they won’t stop talking?
Fresh off debuting this show at the Zero to Fierce Festival in March, Bay Area rising comic Holly Shaw comes to L.A. with this bold new theatrical work blending her deft stand-up chops with storytelling and ritual to create an utterly unique solo show that will keep you on your toes… and maybe scare you just a little bit, in that fun way that a haunted house does.

Come prepared to laugh, grieve, and release…
