[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Let’s give a BIG NoHo Welcome to our neighborhood’s newest restaurant – The Alley Burger!
Honoring the Historic Alley Recording Studio
The Alley Burger sits on storied ground located at 5072 Lankershim. It was once home to the legendary recording studio – The Alley, The studio was where iconic artists like Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Fleetwood Mac and Etta James recorded some of their masterpieces. The Alley Burger wanted to honor the history of the original building and carry on its creative legacy by collaborating with local small businesses and musicians to hold regular live music events!
The Alley Burger is a part of the Portola Paints family and the decision to come to NoHo with their business was also made so they could build something special on this corner to last a long time while also giving back to the NoHo community.
The Alley Burger isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an event space for the community, and most importantly, to our NoHo animal-loving and family orientated residents, The Alley Burger is kid and dog friendly! In fact, they have many fun events planned like games and movie nights. Their main focus in opening Alley Burger is on making this space a casual community hangout that’s fun for all ages!

Smashburgers, Tallow Fries and Straus Farm Milkshakes
Now to the food, which is delicious and very reasonably priced, especially for L.A. The Alley Burger specializes in smashburgers and tallow fries! Their menu reflects a very real commitment to quality and artistry and everything is made with free-range, barley-fed beef—no antibiotics, no hormones and always humanely raised…honest ingredients and bold flavor. Food is entirely customizable with an extensive range of add-ons. Their ice cream milkshakes are made with the heavenly Straus Farm soft serve. Check out the peach cobbler shake!

They also have Impossible Burgers as an option for vegheads, as well as a secret menu, a kids menu, and an amazing pup menu, which is by far the best I have ever seen. Your fur babies can munch on an entrée and dessert option – a pup patty (a patty with no seasoning) and a pup cup (a cup of whipped cream).
I have it under good authority that they are busy working on some vegan options, too. As they like to say, ”We welcome all children, humans and animals!”
I am really looking forward to dropping by for something yummy on my way to a play in NoHo!
Don’t Miss a Bite!
They are open from Wednesday to Sunday. 4pm – 9.30pm Wednesday and Thursday, 12.30pm – 9.30pm Friday and Saturday and 12.30pm to 7.30pm on Sunday
